Transvideo is part of the NEVEx consortium leaded by Technicolor.

 

NEVEx is a working group of small and large companies and universities at the forefront of HDR video technology.
NEVEx uses multiple images to capture maximum detail in dark shadow and bright light and deliver exceptional image realism.
It aims to support development of new image formats by showcasing a complete HDR real-time, end-to-end video pipeline – from content creation to image delivery.

 

During IBC2014 show in Amsterdam, Technicolor became the first company to demonstrate HDR technology on a set-top box, using a standard market codec to deliver and display HDR images.

 

Transvideo developed an HDR setting tools based on the CineMonitorHD 3DView platform, The 3DView-NEVEx features tools to set-up a rig with 2 cameras to obtain HDR pictures, it gives some pre-blending tools to estimate the setting of each cameras, these promising features will be included in the next generation of previs tools from Transvideo.

 

NEVEx is a collaborative project financed by the European Union under the FUI11 program.
