About Chinese Society of Cinematographers (CSC)
The CSC is officially registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs in the People’s Republic of China and accepts guidance from the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. With its members largely being cinematographers, industry professionals and academics, the CSC was founded as a nationwide non-profit organisation. It was formerly known as the Chinese Film Cinematographers Society, founded in Feb 27, 1989. At the time, it was supported by renowned photographer and film artist Mr Wu Yinxian and its elected presidents were Mr Zhen Guoen and Mr Wang Weiguo.
