IBC Preview: Transvideo launches new products for digital cinematography and production at IBC 2014

Paris, France, 6th August 2014 - Transvideo, the award-winning precision monitor manufacturer, has announced exciting new products for launch at IBC 2014.  All products will be on show on the Transvideo / Aaton-Digital stand 11.F31.

NEW:   StarliteHD is a precision 5” OLED field monitor that additionally will record H.264 dailies, take snapshots and will generate a .pdf with metadata from ARRI and SONY cameras at each take. With cameras reducing in size and portable systems becoming more and more compact, Transvideo has created a small 5” HD OLED monitor, about the size of a smartphone and weighting only 190 Grams. Despite its small form factor StarliteHD is a professional high-end 3G-SDI field monitor. Built-in tools include a high-resolution waveform monitor and a precision vectorscope.  A new concept of human interface uses the power of the touch screen panel and rids the user of incomprehensible and endless tiered menus.

The product is deliverable at the show, onwards.  There is a range of accessories, including several battery holders, already available, and a sun hood, loupe, and transportation cover, all with magnetic fastening, all available Q4 2014.

NEW:   StarliteHD-RF, a 5” OLED wireless monitor, based on the StarliteHD monitor and sharing the same features and accessories, available Q1 2015.

NEW:  CineMultiTrack, an exciting new distance measurement system for multiple objects, in association with existing product LensReader.  The system can measure simultaneously the position of several tags and we provide the data to the focus puller on the scale of the lens reader. The system can also deliver the information to Preston FI+Z to help the focus in difficult conditions; available Q4 2014.

NEW:  VirtualHorizon3, the first wireless digital leveller with motion compensation and shock filtering – for remote heads. The product features a wireless remote horizon with a bluetooth link, and works with the CineMonitorHD family; availability show onwards.

NEW:  New anti-reflection coating on the CineMonitorHD eSBL 8" - amazing anti-reflection performance.

NEW:  CineMonitorHD X-SBL 8" - 1500 Nits - including bluetooh module and VirtualHorizon II.

NEW:  Enhancements for the CineMonitorHD multi-format field monitor, including a new release of LensReader, displaying graphic data from intelligent lenses  - ARRI LDS MP & UP, Angenieux /i zooms and Cooke lenses.
